Priceless Expressions

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this brown eyed beauty at her 6, 9, 12, and now 18 month milestones. It has been a pleasure to see her adorable personality traits develop. She’s such a vibrant, charming, curious bundle of enthusiasm. And the expressions we captured are just priceless.

Do You Think You're Getting Anything?
That's probably the most common question I hear during sessions with kids in the 18-24 month age range. Miss A sure is a mover and a shaker; she even has her own little dance followed by lots of E-I-E-I-O's. But with good timing and patience, you can definitely see the answer is YES! I found this great field of flowers just perfect for portraits! What a beautiful location...and I think the subject is pretty adorable too.

The Toughest Job
...you'll ever love. I don't know who said that, but it's so true. Being a mother is absolutely the toughest job that I've ever had. But also the most rewarding.
My 3 year old woke me up this Mother's Day morning (not too early thanks to my husband) and my son said "Happy Birthday mommy. We got you a big ring." Well, that certainly brought a smile to my face. Of course, it's not my birthday and they didn't get me a "big ring" but I did have a beautiful bracelet waiting for me.
So I'm throwing out a Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful moms out there reading. Enjoy it!

Tiny but Tough

Cutie pie Mr. R was born early and weighed in at only 3lbs. 4oz. But don’t let his size fool you. He performed some amazing acrobatics while I was there…yes, he rolled while I was trying to pose him and he packed in a few pretty strong kicks too.
