Someone Twisted My Arm
Or is that, twisted my shutter release finger? Either way, formal portraits are not my favorite type of family session. But I’m always up for a challenge. And I think I captured some images the finger twister will like as well as some images I love. Can you guess which ones are my favorite?

Five Star Family
What a wonderful family session. We visited a scenic park (the weather finally cooperated!) and then headed back the family’s home for some indoor portraits. Mom and Dad were so great to work with. And the boys are exceedingly handsome. Aren’t the results spectacular.

What A Charmer
How adorable is this cutie with the brightest blue eyes, contagious laughter, and charming personality. She literally had us cracking up at the beginning of the session with her silly antics, great smiles (yes, we did get some, but I can’t show everything here!), and funny expressions. Isn’t it fun being one!

Perfect Family, Perfect Day
Bright blue sky. Gorgeous fall color. And a perfect family. Who could ask for more? Well, okay…it was a little bit chilly. But the results are totally worth it!

Enthusiasm and Energy
This family just bubbles with enthusiasm and energy. And it really shines through in the portraits I captured today. The image of the three girls together…it’s just absolute perfection with the fall leaves, the fun color, and those adorable faces!

Three Is A Great Age To Be
Happy Birthday to this little guy. He’s so full of energy and spunk! Rumor has it he’s just not that in to camera time. But he did a fabulous job for me. Great big smiles and all.

Fences, Tractors, and Chickens
I’m pretty sure Miss C was much more interested in climbing fences, driving tractors, and feeding the chickens than giving face time to the camera. But she sweetly obliged. Followed my direction perfectly and then she was off on her next great adventure.

Some Girls Get All The Curls
I could have photographed this sweetie all day...and her brother and sister too. Is it really fair that she has such gorgeous curls? Word on the street is she wants straight hair. Gasp! I'll try to get C and E's portraits posted in the next few days.

Major Milestones
I love working on location as a photographer (the image below was actually set up at my client's house in their garage) . There is always something new and fresh to photograph. And sometimes I’m even lucky enough to witness major milestones. This little guy decided to take his first steps while I was there. How amazing is that!
